I was born in 1984 and started playing music at around 9 years old. I began with a small keyboard and then moved on to the guitar, which has been my instrument ever since. I have alternated periods of self-study with periods of studying with masters such as Alessandro Benvenuti, who has become a dear friend and whose style I admire greatly, and with Nico Stufano, an undisputed expert of the guitar. Since 2000 I have lived in Rome, a city which has offered me many musical opportunities and stimuli and where I have climbed onto a lot of stages and taught in a school of music.

In April 2007, I released my first self-produced album, Catharsis "Story Of A Life," which I wrote, recorded and arranged myself, This album tells the story of a young criminal and how his/her life changes thanks to an effort of his/her will. Hence the title: Catharsis, or the profound change and evolution of a person. It is a concept album which took me a year to write and in which I started to find the formulas and melodies which characterised my style.

After careful musical study and after about another year of work, Closer To Home was released in 2009. This album contains valuable contributions from Frank Gambale, Andrea Braido (Vasco Rossi) and Alessandro Benvenuti.

Closer To Home captures the personal style which I am continually trying to develop further, a style which I call Evocative Rock, where many genres (blues, fusion, funk, rock, percussion) converge and merge into one. All the instruments are played so as to describe a scene, an environment or a feeling. In short, they are little soundtracks for mental pictures. This is why I call my style Evocative Rock, because the music I write aims to evoke images.

I have always had a personal approach to the instrument, trying to bring forth something original, something that will impress the listener, but which leaves a mark. It is a path that I'm still following and will never abandon. It is the study of new melodies the mixing together of different instruments and styles.

In 2009 some of my songs were used in the short films "Mission To Cut", the only Italian short at the National Film Challenge in the U.S., and "Myself", awarded the Audience Award at the "48 Hours film project".
