The title Closer To Home is referred to a place where I feel I may belong. It is the first part of 2 albums concerning me and this place.
Armando Croce plays a great drumming in this album and Valentino Valente plays the bass parts with an extreme precision and ability.
Frank Gambale, Alessandro Benvenuti and Andrea Braido plays as guests in my album, and I'm very proud of this.
I write and arrange all songs as well as playing keyboards and percussion, and I have two classical musicians (cellist Daniela Di Felice and pianist Simone Di Felice) playing on "The Violence Of Truth (Acousitc Version)".;

Catharsis is about a man who manages to overcome his human condition and problems trough his strong willingness. The riffs contained in each song match images regarding the character's life. The album is divided up into 3 parts: in the first one he leads a criminal life and starts thinking he has no future ahead; in the second one he takes us through his internal journey to grasp the sense of his life; in the third one there is a re-birth to a new life with the sense of a renovated and newly conquered humanity he had long fought for. The entire album is written, recorded and arranged by myself (except the cello parts played by Daniela Di Felice).
